Definitions
As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires, the words and terms defined in NRS 385B.015 to 385B.045, inclusive, have the meanings ascribed to them in those sections.

As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires, the words and terms defined in NRS 385B.015 to 385B.045, inclusive, have the meanings ascribed to them in those sections.
“Child of a military family” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 388F.010.
“Out-of-school activity” means an activity that is not associated with a school, including, without limitation, a club team or athletic camp or program.
“Pupil” means a student of a school or a child that receives instruction at home and is excused from compulsory enrollment and attendance pursuant to NRS 392.070.
“Sanctioned sport” means any athletic competition that is approved by the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association.
“School” means any school that is affiliated with or is a member of the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association.
“Zone of attendance” means the zone established by the board of trustees of a school district pursuant to NRS 388.040 to designate which school within the district a pupil must attend.

The rules and regulations adopted by the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association must provide for the membership of charter schools, private schools and parochial schools which may elect to join the Association.
