Conditions Across The States and Congressional Districts

How measurable conditions changed across every state and every congressional district — income, poverty, employment, housing, health and education. The map opens on statewide figures; click a state, or pick one from the list, to open its own page — its senators, its figures and the map of its districts. Each figure is keyed to the boundaries actually in force when it was published, so a figure is never carried across a redistricting as though the ground stayed still. Showing the 119th Congress.

The country’s own figures — inflation, jobs, output, pay, trade and the national side of every measure here — are on Statistics — National, and one measure over every period it was published is there and on each state’s and seat’s own page.

Click a state to see its statistics and districts, or pick one below.

Hover a state for its senators; click to open its state page.

Colour shows the party of the sitting member, not the value — the figure and its trend are in the hover card. US Census Bureau, American Community Survey, 2020-2024. A change since a member took office is not evidence that they caused it. City points and populations: U.S. Census Bureau (Gazetteer 2025, population estimates 2025, ACS 2020–2024).
