This subchapter shall be known and may be cited as the “Mid-America Port Commission Act”.
The Iowa counties which shall be included in the jurisdiction of the mid-America port commission agreement are Jefferson, Van Buren, Wapello, Lee, Henry, and Des Moines counties.

Any power or powers, privileges, or authority exercised or capable of exercise by a public agency of this state may be exercised and enjoyed jointly with the mid-America port commission according to the powers delegated to the commission under this chapter. 2. The chairpersons of the Jefferson, Van Buren, Wapello, Lee, Henry, and Des Moines county boards of supervisors shall jointly elect two members to serve on the port commission.
