Short title. This Act may be cited as the Cook County Forest Preserve District Act. (Source: P.A. 86-1324.)
This Act shall apply only to forest preserve districts lying wholly within counties having a population of 3,000,000 or more. (Source: P.A. 80-320.)
As used in this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, the terms specified in Section 2.1 through 2.3 have the meanings ascribed to them in those Sections. (Source: P.A. 80-320.)
"Board" means the county board of commissioners when acting as the governing body of a forest preserve district. (Source: P.A. 80-320.)
"County" means a county having a population of 3,000,000 or more. (Source: P.A. 80-320.)
"District" means a forest preserve district wholly within a county having a population of 3,000,000 or more. (Source: P.A. 80-320.)
