This Act shall be known and may be cited as the Educational Partnership Act

The General Assembly finds that there is a need for greater cooperation between all levels of the educational system of this State in order to encourage students to complete and realize maximum benefit from their elementary and secondary education. (Source: P.A. 84-712.)

Public institutions of higher education shall, whenever possible, make arrangements for awarding academic credit to students furnishing tutoring services, and in addition shall provide for appropriate full or partial waiver of its tuition or fees to students furnishing tutoring services. Tutorial services by pre-service teacher candidates. Public and private institutions of higher education that have approved teacher education programs may engage pre-service teacher candidates in the tutorial services provided for in this Act.
