There is created in each county having a population of 2,000,000 or more inhabitants, for the purpose of operating on an experimental basis, a Probation Challenge Program. The State shall bear the costs necessary to carry out the functions of the Program. (Source: P.A. 84-1426.)
The Program shall be governed by the Board of City College of Chicago. The Board shall prescribe such rules as may be necessary to assure the efficient and effective operation of the Program, including but not limited to rules establishing qualifications for Program employees.
