Purpose. This Act is intended to provide time off with pay to allow employees of units of local government, boards of election commissioners, or private employers in the State of Illinois to donate blood or an organ. (Source: P.A. 103-450, eff. 1-1-24.)
Definitions. As used in this Act: "Employer" means any unit of local government, board of election commissioners, or any private employer in the State who has 51 or more employees.
