(a) Notification to parties. After you file a petition, the Regional Director will notify any labor organization, agency, or activity identified as being affected by issues raised by the petition, that a petition has been filed. The Regional Director will also make reasonable efforts to identify and notify any other party affected by the issues raised by the petition. However, the Regional Director's reasonable efforts do not relieve you of your own notification and service obligations.
(b) Contents of the notification. The notification will inform the labor organization, agency, or activity of:
(1) Your name (the petitioner);
(2) The description of the unit(s) or employees affected by issues raised in the petition; and,
(3) A statement that all affected parties should advise the Regional Director in writing of their interest in the issues raised in the petition.
