§ 393-d. Sale of certified copies of property deeds. Any person,
corporation, association, partnership or other entity which sells or
offers to sell in this state any certified copy of a property deed shall
provide to the purchaser the following notice in at least twelve-point
boldface type prior to the time of sale:
"Certified copies of property deeds are available at the county
clerk's office. The county clerk's office may charge a small fee for
certified copies of such deeds, usually between two and four dollars a

twenty dollars."
