The twenty-sixth day of October is designated as "Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy Awareness Day." Sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP) is the sudden, unexpected death of someone with epilepsy who was otherwise healthy. Last updated September 13, 2023 at 12:01 PM
