Jurisdiction over persons. The circuit courts of this State have jurisdiction to bind (1) State residents and (2) non-residents having minimum contacts with this State, to the extent permitted by Section 2-209 of the Code of Civil Procedure. (Source: P.A. 100-607, eff. 1-1-19.)
