Non-preclusion of remedies. Nothing in this Act shall preclude a petitioner or law enforcement officer from removing weapons under other authority or filing criminal charges when probable cause exists. (Source: P.A. 100-607, eff. 1-1-19; 101-81, eff. 7-12-19.)
