Permanent voter registration numbers. The statewide voter registration system shall assign to each voter a unique registration number. That number shall be permanent for that voter and shall not be changed or reassigned by the county board of elections. (2001-319, s. 8.1(a); 2003-226, s. 10; 2017-6, s. 3; 2018-146, s. 3.1(a), (b).)
