***** 557.217 THIS SECTION WAS REPEALED BY ACT 39 OF 1948 (1ST EX. SESS.) EFFECTIVE MAY 10, 1948, SUBJECT TO SAVINGS PROVISIONS IN § 557.252 ET SEQ. ***** Sec. 17. This act shall not be construed to operate retroactively and any right established or accrued and any action taken prior to the effective date of this act shall be governed by the law in force at the time such right was established or accrued or such action was taken.
