(a) General rule.--Before imposing sentence, the court shall afford counsel for the prosecution and the defense a reasonable opportunity to read but only in the discretion of the court to copy the presentence report. (b) Restrictions on disclosure.--The court may in its discretion require counsel not to disclose specified parts of the report.
