(1) The treasurer may accept an application for a treasurer's deed. If accepted, the treasurer shall review the application as soon as practicable but not later than forty-five calendar days from the date of acceptance to determine whether it complies with the requirements of this article 11.5. (2) If the treasurer determines that an application complies with the requirements of this article 11.5, the treasurer shall collect from a lawful holder all delinquent taxes owed and endorse all subsequent certificates of purchase for tax liens on such property and shall verify that all subsequent taxes have been paid in full by the lawful holder. (3) The treasurer shall record an application for a treasurer's deed and the certificate of purchase, and all endorsements, within ten business days following the treasurer's determination that all subsequent taxes have been paid in full. (4) The recorded document must be retained in the county's public records in the county where the property is located.
