The department shall make rules in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, establishing policies, procedures, and a timeline for the: (1) request for a Silver Alert by a law enforcement officer or agency; (2) activation of the Silver Alert Notification System; (3) duration of the Silver Alert; and (4) cancellation of a Silver Alert.
