§ 87.1 Purpose.

This section contains the statutory basis and provides the purpose for which this part is issued. (a) [Reserved] (b) Purpose. Except as provided in part 88 of this chapter, this part states the conditions under which radio stations may be licensed and used in the aviation services. These rules do not govern U.S. Government radio stations.
