Where the added territory extends into an adjacent county the city clerk shall certify the hospital levy to the county clerk of the adjacent county and he or she shall extend the levy on all the tangible taxable property of such territory in his or her county. Upon the receipt of the revenue provided by such levy from the county treasurer or treasurers the city treasurer shall turn the money over to the treasurer of the board of hospital trustees, taking his or her receipt therefor.
