The expiration of the terms of members of the Legislative Administration Committee, as provided in ORS 173.730, does not affect the employment of any individual filling a position previously approved by the committee. Upon the expiration of the terms of members and until the newly appointed committee provides otherwise, the Legislative Administrator may employ and fix the compensation of individuals the Legislative Administrator deems necessary for the effective conduct of the work under the charge of the Legislative Administrator.
