This Chapter may be referred to and may be cited as "The Children First Act". Acts 1988, No. 659, §1, eff. July 15, 1988. {{NOTE: ACTS 1988, NO. 659, §3, PROVIDES THAT IF R.S. 17:421.3 IS NOT FUNDED, THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CHAPTER, AS ENACTED BY SAID ACT, SHALL BE NULL AND VOID.}}
