A. The Advisory Board of the Old State Capitol is hereby created in the Department of State. B. The Advisory Board of the Old State Capitol shall be composed of the following members, all of whom shall have a knowledge of and interest in art, history, including political history, and cultural restoration: (1) Eleven members shall be appointed by the secretary of state. (2) The secretary of state or his designee shall serve as a member. (3) The state archivist shall serve as a member. C. Each appointed member shall be confirmed by the Senate and shall serve a term concurrent with that of the secretary of state. Each member shall serve until his successor is appointed and takes office. D. The members of the board shall serve without compensation.
