§ 1948.96 Audit requirements.

(a) Audit requirements for Site Development and Acquisition Grants will be made in accordance with RD Instruction 1942-G. (b) Audits for planning grants made in accordance with State statutes or regulatory agencies will be acceptable provided they are prepared in sufficient detail to permit Rural Development to determine that grant funds have been used in compliance with the proposal, any applicable laws and regulations, and the grant agreement. A copy of the audit shall be submitted to the State Director as soon as possible but in no case later than 90 days following the period covered by the grant.
