In this chapter: (1) "District" means a water control and improvement district. (2) "Board" means the board of directors of a district. (3) "Director" means a member of the board of directors of a district. (4) "Commissioners court" means the commissioners court of the county in which a district or part of a district is located. (5) "Commission" means the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. (6) "Executive director" means the executive director of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
