(a) The commission shall periodically review services provided by the commission, including laboratory services, that also are provided in the private sector in order to determine the most cost-effective method for delivering the services. (b) Repealed by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., R.S., Ch. 24 (S.B. 706), Sec. 7(1), eff. September 1, 2017.
