(a) The city manager shall appoint a clerk of the municipal court of record who shall be known as the "municipal court clerk." (b) Repealed by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 691, Sec. 139(31), eff. Sept. 1, 1999. (c) The clerk may hire, direct, and remove the personnel authorized in the city's annual budget for the clerk's office.
