(a) Newton County is included in the East Texas Juvenile Board. (b) Sections 152.1271(a), (b), (d), (e), and (f) apply to the juvenile board in Jasper, Newton, Sabine, and San Augustine counties. (c) The Commissioners Court of Newton County may pay the county judge of Newton County additional annual compensation in an amount set by the commissioners court.
