The department shall advise, consult, and cooperate, on matters under its jurisdiction, with other state agencies, the federal government, other states, interstate agencies, local governments, and groups concerned with the control and transportation of sources of radiation. The commission shall advise, consult, and cooperate with those entities on matters under its jurisdiction.
