(a) The district fire marshal shall cooperate with the state fire marshal to conduct: (1) fire prevention activities; (2) fire-fighting activities; and (3) fire investigations. (b) The district fire marshal shall aid or conduct an investigation in a municipality or a county if requested by the municipality or the county.
