(a) At any time the commissioner considers appropriate, the commissioner may adopt: (1) a new rate schedule for burial associations; or (2) an amendment to an existing rate schedule. (b) After the commissioner adopts a new rate schedule or an amendment to an existing rate schedule and sends a copy to the burial associations, each burial association shall use the new or amended rate schedule for individuals who the association subsequently accepts as members.
