(a) The medical board shall adopt rules necessary to comply with Chapter 53, except to the extent the requirements of this chapter are stricter than the requirements of Chapter 53. (b) In rules under this section, the medical board shall list the specific offenses for which a conviction would constitute grounds for the medical board to take action under Section 53.021.
