(a) The data providers shall, and the University of California is requested to, enter into memoranda of understanding for data sharing purposes, as necessary, for the implementation of this chapter. (b) A signatory to the participation agreement meets the requirements of this section. (c) This section does not impose a requirement that differs from the requirement contained in former Section 10858, as it read on January 1, 2024.
