(a) Notwithstanding any other law, the following advisory bodies are hereby abolished: (1) Ethics and Advertising Committee in Bureau of Electronic and Appliance Repair. (8) State Board of Cosmetology Advisory Committee on Inspections and Disciplinary Review. (9) BEAR Advisory Board Executive Committee in Bureau of Electronic and Appliance Repair. (10) Electronic and Appliance Repair Advisory Board in Bureau of Electronic and Appliance Repair. (11) Industry Liaison in Bureau of Electronic and Appliance Repair. (12) Consumer Outreach in Bureau of Electronic and Appliance Repair. (13) Manufacturers and Service in Bureau of Electronic and Appliance Repair. (14) Contractors Liaison in Bureau of Electronic and Appliance Repair. (15) State Tax Preparer Advisory Committee. (16) California Advisory Board of Home Furnishings. (17) Consumer Advisory Council. (18) Task Force of Fire Sprinkling Systems in School Buildings in Office of State Fire Marshal. (19) Telecommunications Advisory Board. (47) California State Summer School for the Arts Advisory Council. (b) As used in this chapter, “advisory body” means any committee, council, task force, board, panel, or other governmental entity.
