S. 1730: TO TABLE THE EVANS, WA) AMENDMENT TO S 1730, TO REQUIRE A STUDY ON THE METHOD OF ASSESSING THE RATE OF ERRORS THAT STATES COMMIT WHEN THEY PROCESS APPLICATIONS FOR FOODSTAMPS. THERE WOULD BE A TWO-YEAR MORATORIUM ON PENALTIES AGAINST STATES WITH EXCESSIVE RATES OF ERROR.
