S. 1714: TO AMEND THE DOLE, KS) MOTION TO RECOMMIT S 1714 TO ESTABLISH A PROGRAM FOR SIX YEARS THAT LOWERS SUBSIDIES FOR WHEAT, CORN, COTTON AND RICE. THE PROGRAM WOULD ALSO LOWER RATES ON FARM LOANS, ELIMINATE PROGRAMS THAT REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF CULTIVATED ACREAGE, AND ALLOW FARMERS TO REPAY LOANS AT THE STIPULATED RATE PER BUSHEL INSTEAD OF THE MARKET RATE IF THE LATTER RATE IS HIGHER.
