HJR 662: TO CONCUR IN SENATE AMENDMENT #2 TO H. J. RES. 622. AMENDMENT #2 PROHIBITS THE USE OF THE SUPPLEMENTAL HEW FUNDS FOR ABORTION EXCEPT WHEN THE MOTHER'S LIFE WOULD BE ENDANGERED IF THE FETUS WERE CARRIED TO TERM, WHEN SEVERE AND LONG-LASTING PHYSICAL HEALTH DAMAGE WOULD RESULT TO THE MOTHER AS "DETERMINED BY TWO PHYSICIANS" AND FOR CERTAIN MEDICAL PROCEDURES TO TREAT VICTIMS OF RAPE OR INCEST THAT HAVE REPORTED THE INCIDENT PROMPTLY TO A LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY OR A HEALTH SERVICE AGENCY.
