HRE 1194: TO SUSPEND THE RULES AND AGREE TO H. RES. 1194, AS AMENDED. H. RES. 1194 EXPRESSES THE SENSE OF THE HOUSE THAT THE SOUTH KOREAN GOVERNMENT SHOULD COOPERATE FULLY WITH THE COMMITTEE ON STANDARDS OF OFFICIAL CONDUCT SO THAT THE COMMITTEE MAY SECURE TESTIMONY FROM FORMER AMBASSADOR KIM DONG JO. THE RESOLUTION ALSO STATES THAT IF THE SOUTH KOREAN GOVERNMENT REFUSES TO COOPERATE WITH THIS REQUEST, THE HOUSE WILL BE PREPARED TO DENY OR REDUCE NONMILITARY ASSISTANCE TO SOUTH KOREA.
