H.R. 12452: TO AMEND THE KREBS AMENDMENT OFFERED IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE FOR THE ERLENBORN AMENDMENT (SEE RC 673) TO H.R. 12452. THE ASHBROOK AMENDMENT STRIKES THE PROVISION THAT ALLOWS USE OF CETA FUNDS FOR RETIREMENT SYSTEM CONTRIBUTIONS IF THE CETA EMPLOYEE IS LIKELY TO BENEFIT FROM THE PENSION PLAN IN THE FUTURE. THE KREBS SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT PROHIBITS USE OF CETA FUNDS FOR RETIREMENT SYSTEM CONTRIBUTIONS EXCEPT WHEN THE CETA WORKER IS LIKELY TO FROM THE PENSION PLAN IN THE FUTURE.
