H.R. 7555: TO MODIFY THE HOUSE AMENDMENT (SEE RC 583) TO SENATE AMENDMENT #82 (SEE RC 337) TO H.R. 7555. THE BROOKE AMENDMENT AUTHORIZES THE USE OF FEDERAL FUNDS FOR ABORTIONS IF THE LIFE OF THE MOTHER WOULD BE ENDANGERED BY THE PREGNANCY, IF SEVERE AND LONG-LASTING PHYSICAL HEALTH DAMAGE WOULD RESULT TO THE MOTHER, OR IF THE MOTHER IS A VICTIM OF RAPE OR INCEST AND HAS REPORTED THE INCIDENT TO THE PROPER AUTHORITIES.
