S. 1193: TO AMEND S.1193, THE AUTHORIZATIONS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE, BY PROVIDING THAT THE CONGRESS REAFFIRM THE DEDICATION OF THE UNITED STATES TO THE PROTECTION OF THE LIVES OF ALL THE WORLD'S CHILDREN AND THE SUPPORT OF THE UNITED STATES FOR EFFORTS TO IMPROVE WORLD HEALTH, AND URGES THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT AND THE BREASTMILK SUBSTITUTE INDUSTRY TO SUPPORT THE BASIC AIM OF THE INTERNATIONAL CODE OF MARKETING OF BREASTMILK SUBSTITUTES AND TO COOPERATE WITH THE GOVERNMENTS OF ALL COUNTRIES IN THEIR EFFORTS TO DEVELOP HEALTH STANDARDS AND PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO IMPLEMENT THE OBJECTIVES OF THE CODE.
