S.Res. 382: TO AGREE TO S. RES. 382, WHICH PROVIDES THAT THE UNITED STATES CANNOT STAND NEUTRAL WITH REGARD TO IMLEMENTATION OF UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION 502, A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE RIGHT OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND ALL OTHER NATIONS TO THE RIGHT OF SELF DEFENSE UNDER THE UNITED NATIONS CHARTER. S. RES. 382 FURTHER EXHORTS THAT THE UNITED STATES SHOULD THEREFORE PREPARE, THROUGH CONSULTATIONS WITH CONGRESS, TO FURTHER ALL EFFORTS, PURSUANT TO SECURITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION 502, TO ACHIEVE FULL WITHDRAWL OF ARGENTINE FORCES FROM THE FALKLAND ISLANDS.
