H.R. 6211: TO TABLE A MOTION TO SUSPEND AN AGREED-TO MOTION TO WAIVE SECTION 311 OF THE CONGRESSIONAL BUDGET ACT AND PROVIDE FOR THE CONSIDERATION OF THE DOLE AMENDMENT. THE DOLE AMENDMENT IS AN AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE TO THE LEVIN AMENDMENT TO H.R. 6211. THE LEVIN AMENDMENT EXTENDS UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION BENEFITS FOR 2-5 WEEKS. THE DOLE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT EXTENDS UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION BY AN ADDITIONAL TWO TO SIX WEEKS, BUT AT A LOWER COST THAN THE LEVIN AMENDMENT. (MOTION FAILED) SEE NOTE(S) 42
