THE FORD AMENDMENT PROVIDES THAT FEDERAL SUPPLEMENTAL UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION SHALL BE AVAILABLE TO CERTAIN RAILROAD WORKERS, AND IT MAKES THE NECESSARY APPROPRIATIONS TO PAY SUCH COMPENSATION.
