THE ZABLOCKI AMENDMENT DELETES $114.6 MILLION IN FUNDS REQUESTED BY THE PENTAGON FOR THE PRODUCTION OF BINARY CHEMICAL WEAPONS. THE BETHUNE AMENDMENT DELETES ALL AUTHORIZED FUNDING FOR NERVE GAS ARTILLERY SHELLS AND FOR NERVE GAS PRODUCTION, AND PROHIBITS THE PROCUREMENT OF BINARY CHEMICAL MUNITIONS AND RELATED PRODUCTION FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT, AND PRECURSOR CHEMICALS.
